A letter addressed to 2014

Dear 2014

Of you I have great expectations. You have so much potential.
I don't want to intimidate you but you will be the host of some great moments in my life. Among these is my trip to London in February with my tealoving friend, my trip to Riga with the choir at school and the most exciting thing will be my graduation from Midtfyns Gymnasium in June. Here after I have no plan. Of course I have some ideas, but a plan no.I believe it will all work out...
I have thought a lot about you lately. As you have been aproaching I have been looking back on the year of 2013 and I have been reliving some great memories from the year. 2013 included a lot of travelling: a trip to Milano, Stockholm, Barcelona and Idaho was on the schedule and I have never been happier(or poorer). Seriously though I've spend a lot of money on travelling, but then again I wouldn't have it any other way. Travelling is so exciting. Seeing new places and new faces is my favourite thing. It brings me so much joy. It also helps me appreciate my own country even more. Although I have to admit I dream of living in other countries than Denmark... I mean how could I ever just stay in one place when  there is an entire world of places and faces I haven't seen yet?
Anyways, 2014, I hope we will get along. I hope my positive thoughts of you and your great supply of tales yet to be told will make it a wonderful year.

Sincerely Elisabeth
